Traveling exotic animal protection act hearings today

When animals are forced to travel with circus operators or other event organizers dealing with animals, they encounter many challenges that lead to their suffering. For this reason, Virginia Congressman, Jim Moran,  presented a bill that could end wild and exotic animal  transportation and their pain all together. He received support from a veterinarian who has treated various animals injured due to the dangerous traveling conditions. With his testimony, Moran hopes to demonstrate the negative effects of transporting animals and in the end risking their lives.
